Description
- Developing Project Safety Management Policy.
- Continually maintain the highest level of HSE awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the project organization.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE codes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with contract HSE requirements.
- Audit subcontractor HSE Policy and follow up improvement activities.
- Utilize HSE tools like Toolbox Talks (TBTs), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Job Safety Cards (JSCs), and others to monitor and promote project members’ awareness.
- Identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees.
- Conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.
- Ensure that workplace tools and equipment meet industry standards.
- Manage Safety officers at company fabrication yard for bends production and material preparation.
- Investigate incidents, establish the causes, and recommend preventive action against a recurrence.
- Prepares monthly HSE reports and make presentations to company Project Manager and Client.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in safety management, or relevant field experience;
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an HSE Manager on EPC projects.
- Ability to independently produce reports and develop relevant policies.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Proficiency in both English and French speaking required.
