Description
A leading company in software development is looking for an experienced Requirements Engineer for highly complex software projects in a corporate environment. In this key role, you will be responsible for the entire requirements management process, from gathering customer requirements to describing technical solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements
- Develop and maintain requirement specifications
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops for requirements gathering
- Create use cases, user stories, and functional specifications
- Work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure quality assurance and validation of requirements
- Support the prioritization of requirements and the planning of product roadmaps
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the entire development process
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, information design, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst, preferably in complex software projects
- Sound knowledge of requirements management methods and tools (e.g. IREB, UML, BPMN)
- Experience with agile and classic development methods
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way
- Ability to work in a team and in an interdisciplinary environment
- Familiarity with software development, either through studies or conceptual projects
- Passion for the development process of new software solutions and the ability to think beyond the screen
- A broad range of skills that go beyond technical know-how: conceptual analysis, communication, prioritization, organization, and motivation
- Enjoyment in developing innovative service offerings
- Willingness to support the team as a designer, mentor, or coach
