Description
A company is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant in the field of Analytics – Data Analytics for an existing project on platform migration from Qlik Sense to MS Power BI. The goal of the project is the analysis, conception, and development of user-centered applications, as well as the migration of existing dashboards and data models to a new target architecture.
The consultant will play a key role in planning, development, and documentation to ensure that all requirements are met and the systems are seamlessly integrated.
Planning
Analysis of existing systems, applications, and architectures.
Conception of user-centered web applications based on cloud technologies.
Design of functional interfaces between applications and processes.
Development
Implementation of user-centered web applications using cloud technologies.
Creation of high-performance data models and dashboards in Power BI incl. dataflows.
Transformation of designs into prototypes, as well as consulting on technical aspects.
Testing and debugging of software applications.
Building database structures and interfaces between databases/systems.
Documentation
Creation of comprehensive development documentation.
Handover of an operations and development manual.
Requirements
Mandatory requirements:
Solid experience in migrating Qlik Sense dashboards or use cases to Power BI.
Expertise in creating high-performance data models/dashboards in Power BI incl. dataflows.
Knowledge of incremental transfer of Oracle-based DWH data into the data lake using DBT.
Very good knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power Query (M formula).
Preferred requirements:
Very good knowledge in the conception/implementation of dynamic Row Level Security (25% weighting).
Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating data pipelines (25% weighting).
Solid experience with Power Automate (25% weighting).
Experience in creating custom visualizations with Vega Lite (Deneb) (25% weighting).
