Description
The service holder is responsible for managing the Instrumentation and ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety System) discipline for the onshore CPF (Central Processing Facility) plant. This role includes overseeing the ICSS contractor and ensuring the integration of new developments into the existing EPS (Early Production Scheme) platform’s ICSS architecture. The service holder may also contribute to the ongoing pre-FEED extension studies and be heavily involved in the FEED preparation scope until FEED sanction. The service holder is accountable for ensuring that FEED deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet the necessary quality standards, including active participation in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) CFT (Call for Tender) preparation.
The service holder is expected to have strong expertise in the Instrumentation and ICSS discipline for oil and gas projects, with the ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks within their scope of work. They should also be able to recognize opportunities for improvement. Specific responsibilities include:
- Management of the Instrumentation and ICSS discipline for the onshore CPF plant, including interfaces with the existing EPS platform and telecom systems.
- Coordination and participation in HSE reviews such as SIL (Safety Integrity Level) reviews, ensuring adherence to TotalEnergies' HSE standards.
- Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE): Evaluation of I&C and equipment packages during the bid process.
- Resolution of Technical Queries raised by engineers, third-party consultants, and bidders.
- Process Automation Systems: Expertise in ICSS/DCS, Alarm Management System, system design, detailed engineering, and system architecture development.
- Telecom Systems: Knowledge of Fiber Optics, CCTV, PA (Public Address), ACS (Access Control Systems), and transmission networks, including coverage studies and system architecture development.
- Cybersecurity and Network Security: Implementation of robust security measures.
- Schedule and Budget: Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements and prepare draft cost estimates.
- Review of design calculations and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Environmental Knowledge: Understanding of environmental principles, laws, regulations, and compliance with the host country's legislative framework.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically within Instrumentation and ICSS.
- Experience on large projects, including more than 15 years working within project-based environments.
